What a great day I had today at Quilt Week in Paducah, KY. I arrived before Jennie and her crew did and was able to explore the downtown Paducah area in leisure.
Once Jennie arrived with her mother Nancy Evans and their family friend Irma Gail Hatcher, we were led into a private viewing room at the National Quilt Museum to have a private screening of two quilts that Irma Gail has on permanent display. What an honor it was to spend time with Irma Gail Hatcher and get an up close and personal viewing of her two quilts; Conway Album (I’m Not From Baltimore, and Garden Maze.

We had a great dinner with friends and all shared our joy of the creative process and quilting.
Tomorrow Jennie and I will get around to all the displays. I will be posting pics then.
